A Fashion trend signifies a specific look that is spread across a population at a specific time and place. Fashion trends are influenced by cinema, celebrities ,design etc. Many people follow fashion trends from social media , that’s why its called fashion is passion. Peoples paid huge amount of money to promote their product. Instagram is the most popular platform for advertising.
Earlier, fashion is very different in small towns and in metro area but now there is no very much difference .People buy dresses from online shopping sites such as myntra , snapdeal , jabong etc. Fashion gives an opportunities to be independent in our thinking. It is necessary to dress up according to occasion. Fashion used to be very different in metros and small towns in earlier days. But now the difference have gone down to a great extent due to many reasons.

Fashion is also a source of art, allowing people to display their unique tastes and styling. Different fashion designer reflect the inspiration in their work. For example, Gucci’s ‘stained green’ jeans may look like a grass stain , but to others, they display purity, freshness and summer.
Fashion is unique, self-fulfilling and may be a key part of someone’s identity. The aim of a person’s choices in fashion are not necessarily to be liked by everyone, but instead to be an expression of personal taste.
Different people have different culture like in Uttarakhand, people wear ghagra along with shirt as a blouse and saree with a full sleeves blouse. They also wear headscarf to protect their hair from damage and to carry the harvest.
